Cricket scoring - bowling analysis - Wides and No-Balls (No runs made).

The symbol to use to indicate a wide where no runs are made is the Plus symbol top left (Fig 2). The plus symbol on its own means the bowler is penalised for 1 run.

The symbol used to indicate a No-Ball with no runs made, is a circle (2nd delivery in this over). The same as with the wide, the bowler is penalised for 1 run.

Therefore in this over the bowler has been penalised for 3 runs (2 wides and 1 No-Ball).

Added to the previous over (See figure 1) the bowler has now gone for 6 runs off of 2 overs



Note In the bowling analysis for "B.Lokes" on the right -hand side, you'll see the figures 1123 in the wides column. It's good practice when scoring to record the wides and no-balls in their respective columns here as well as in the Extras box.
